My name is Juan Aleman II, over my life I've been a husband, father, soldier, actor, screenwriter, and poet. This is my first collection of short stories. I am proud of finding the words, and being able to put it all together. My first attempt at writing, a children's book released in 2020. In starting my new book, there was a bit of fear and apprehension in releasing my stories.
In my life, I have found myself living a life in my head, amidst my dark thoughts and self-doubt; what I wrote is, at times hard to read and take in, but these are my thoughts. Some of those darker thoughts might be seen as glorifying violence or anger, but sometimes knowing that others share your thoughts is theraputic. Knowing that the world is heavy for a lot of people makes you feel closer to others. Thank you.
