My name is Juan Aleman II, over my life I've been a soldier, a husband, father, actor, poet and a writer. This is my first collection of short stories, I am proud of finding the words and being able to put it all together. I published a children's book in 2020, but this is far from a children's book. I can say, some of it is sad, angry, outrageous, and thought provoking. There was a bit of fear and apprehension in releasing my stories; sometimes darker thoughts are seen as glorifying violence or anger, but sometimes knowing that others share your thoughts is theraputic. Knowing that the world is heavy for a lot of people makes you feel closer to others. Thank you.
